Into the spider's web...

On a morning in late autumn, a strong night freeze had left a layer of sparkling frost on pretty much everything in the garden, including some intriguing spiderwebs on the shed windows. While manually focussing with a macro lens – trying to get as much as possible of the ice-crystalled web in focus – I noticed all of the different layers just behind the web itself, like the frostwork on the window and the reflections of the web.
