Waterlicht

After recently speaking to the man himself for an article in the WNF-LifeGuard (the Dutch WWF’s youth club) magazine, it was about time I actually saw (‘experienced’ might be a better word) some of artist Daan Roosegaarde’s work. So what a coincidence that his ‘Waterlicht’ project was being shown these past few nights, at none other than the world-famous UNESCO site of Schokland, a former island now part of the Noordoostpolder.
